TL;DR
Shopify Plus stores built and optimized by craftberry include Shelly, On, Takomo, and Pepper. These projects show how brands use Shopify Plus for international expansion, custom development, and complex eCommerce integrations.
For Shelly, we migrated over 500,000 customer records from Shopware to Shopify Plus. We launched On's UAE storefront in 11 weeks and built a single Shopify Plus store for Takomo serving 195+ countries.
Drawing on our firsthand experience and Shopify's published case studies, this article examines 25 Shopify Plus stores, including 11 craftberry projects, highlighting their technical implementations and reported results.
craftberry is a Shopify Premier Partner agency specializing in Shopify Plus development, migrations, and complex eCommerce integrations. Since 2015, our team has delivered 800+ Shopify projects for mid-sized and large eCommerce brands.
Key Takeaways
- More storefronts aren't always better. Takomo serves 195+ countries through one Shopify Plus store, while Shelly uses separate regional storefronts. The right setup depends on operational requirements.
- Integrations can be more important than storefront design. Brands such as On, Takomo, and The Fashion Project needed reliable connections between Shopify and their ERP or inventory systems first and foremost.
- Headless commerce isn't necessarily the best option. Carpet Warehouse moved from a headless build to a native Shopify storefront, improving Largest Contentful Paint from 4.2 to 1.9 seconds.
- Shopify Plus features alone don't guarantee better conversion rates. The results depend on how the store is implemented, from checkout logic and product experience to performance and ongoing optimization.
Shopify Plus stores at a glance
According to Store Leads, approximately 54,212 merchants operated 81,318 Shopify Plus domains as of October 16, 2026.
Here are 25 confirmed Shopify Plus brands and the capabilities or implementations behind their stores.
Figures come from published craftberry case studies and Shopify customer stories. Results reflect individual projects and reporting periods, not guaranteed outcomes or direct proof that Shopify Plus alone caused the improvement.
How we selected these examples
The 25 examples were selected from published craftberry and Shopify case studies identifying the brands as Shopify Plus merchants. Eleven are craftberry clients and 14 come from Shopify's customer stories.
Reported results are attributed to their respective case studies and may refer to different time periods. Examples of platform features reflect the implementations described in those case studies, including some historical functionality that has since changed.

At craftberry, we've worked on Shopify Plus projects across fashion, electronics, food, health, and other industries.
While the platform provides the foundation, the more interesting decisions often concern international operations, system integrations, checkout requirements, and how easily a store can evolve.
1. Shelly: two regional Plus storefronts for 100+ markets

Shelly is a global IoT and smart-home company. We migrated it from Shopware to Shopify Plus, moving more than 500,000 customer records.
Plus feature used: two separate storefronts, an international store for Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Asia, and a USA store for North America, with Geo Pro routing each shopper by location. Both storefronts run on Shopify Plus under one setup.
The stack also uses Checkout Blocks for checkout customization, Combined Listings, Adyen for multi-currency payments and SAP. The rebuilt store is 43% faster, and a post-launch test that added "Most Popular" and "Best Value" labels to existing bundle tiers lifted conversion rate 11% and revenue per visitor 8% (Shelly case study).
2. On (UAE): Combined Listings on a store launched in 11 weeks

On asked us to launch its UAE Shopify Plus storefront in 11 weeks.
Plus feature used: the Shopify Combined Listings app, which Shopify makes available only on Plus and enterprise plans.
Shoppers switch between gender and colour on one product page, while each variation still appears on its own in collections.
Behind the storefront, we used Gadget as the connection layer between Shopify Plus and MuleSoft for product sourcing, stock updates and order sync (On case study).
3. Takomo: one Plus store for 195+ countries

Takomo is a Finnish direct-to-consumer golf brand.
Years of incremental additions had left its store hard to change, so we rebuilt it from scratch on Shopify Plus.
Plus feature used: a single storefront configured for 195+ countries, with Global-e handling currency, duties and order routing, and a custom Odoo ERP integration for inventory and orders. We migrated about 2,120 products. Conversion rate rose 16% and the store is 43% faster (Takomo case study).
4. Pepper: private apps and a 5-day release cycle

Pepper is a US intimates brand we have worked with since 2018, across more than 120 projects.
Plus feature used: private Shopify apps and a custom promotions engine for gift-with-purchase, bundles, a starter kit and buy-X-save-Y offers, with Global-e for cross-border selling.
Pepper reports 60% development cost savings and an average feature release time of 5 days (Pepper case study).
5. Midi Health: launching a Shopify Plus subscription store in four weeks

Midi Health, a US women's healthcare company, needed a dedicated eCommerce store for its new supplement line.
We developed a custom Shopify Plus storefront with Skio subscriptions, ActiveCampaign integration, and referral and loyalty functionality. The implementation also included A/B testing infrastructure and a shopping experience designed to make recurring purchases easier to manage.
Result: The Shopify Plus store launched in four weeks.

6. Carpet Warehouse: off headless, back to a native Plus storefront

Carpet Warehouse is an established UK flooring retailer. Its headless Shopify build on Vercel needed a developer deploy for every content update.
Plus feature used: a native Shopify Plus storefront, with advanced collection filters on SEO-conscious URLs and a product-page calculator that turns roll width, length and backing into square metres and price.
LCP improved from 4.2s to 1.9s, a 55% improvement, and conversion rate rose 8% (Carpet Warehouse case study).
7. Glowforge: headless components where they earn their place

Glowforge makes at-home laser cutters and engravers.
Plus feature used: a bespoke Shopify Plus build with headless components, plus GA4 and Google Tag Manager tracking.
We delivered the initial rebuild in 7 weeks and have completed 60+ projects with the brand since 2021 (Glowforge case study).
"They were able to keep us informed and not wondering what was going on." Emily Iser, Software Engineering Manager, Glowforge (Clutch review)
8. Pro Energetic: a Plus migration built for retention

Pro Energetic moved from a custom platform to Shopify Plus with a new theme and UX/UI.
Plus feature used: a custom theme with a content system the marketing team runs alone, plus loyalty, referral and affiliate programmes through LoyaltyLion.
Page load is 43% faster and the returning-customer rate is 38% higher (Pro Energetic case study).
9. Carista: two websites merged into one global Plus storefront

Carista sells car diagnostics tools.
Plus feature used: a custom Shopify Plus storefront that consolidated two web properties into one customer journey, in seven languages, with a supported-cars quiz built into the storefront.
Bounce rate fell 29% (Carista case study).
10. The Fashion Project: an ERP-connected Plus migration

The Fashion Project, one of Greece's fastest-growing fashion brands, moved from a custom platform to Shopify Plus.
Plus feature used: a custom Odoo inventory integration we co-developed with the client's ERP team, on a theme built for a large, frequently changing catalogue.
Products, collections, customers and order history moved with zero disruption to day-to-day operations (The Fashion Project case study).
11. Enhance Automotive: Shopify Plus migration with custom ERP integration

Enhance Automotive, a manufacturer of smart Tesla accessories, needed a more flexible eCommerce setup capable of supporting international operations.
We migrated its products, customers, orders, and reviews to Shopify Plus and developed a custom SmartERP integration to synchronize inventory, orders, and fulfillment workflows. The implementation also included advanced product bundling, localized pricing, and market-specific fulfillment rules.
Following the launch, we continued optimizing the storefront through A/B testing.
Result: A post-launch experiment increased conversion rate by 21.01% and revenue per visitor by 21.63%.

13. Staples Canada: a custom checkout and click and collect in 72 hours

Staples Canada migrated from VTEX to Shopify Plus in under 12 months, for less than half the cost it expected elsewhere.
Plus feature used: a custom checkout. When stores closed in March 2020, it rolled out click and collect in less than 72 hours, and it now runs 4x more online promotions per day.
14. Brooklinen: a B2B store inside the same admin

Plus feature used: B2B on Shopify Plus.
Brooklinen added a second store exclusively for B2B buyers within the same admin, and says its wholesale team can now spend 80% of its time working with customers.
15. Allbirds: retail stores that fulfil online orders

Plus feature used: Ship from Store on Shopify POS, rolled out in four waves.
Allbirds enabled its network of 31 retail stores to fulfil omnichannel demand, and over 50% of product shipped from stores is generally slower-moving inventory.
16. BrainGain: expansion stores for the UK and Europe

Year over year from 2021 to 2022, revenue rose 50%, AOV 40% and average selling price 50%.

25. Skullcandy: a faster store with one-step checkout

Plus feature used: Shopify Checkout reduced to a single step, an ERP integration, and regional sites for Canada, the EU and the UK.
The regional sites rolled out within about seven weeks of the US launch.
The homepage now loads in 0.8s instead of 2.8s, and holiday revenue grew as much as 45% year over year from 2023 to 2024 (Shopify case study).
What can eCommerce brands learn from these Shopify Plus examples?
Across these 25 brands, four decisions stand out.
1. More storefronts don't always mean better international operations.
Separate regional stores make sense when markets have different operational requirements. But businesses sharing the same catalogue, brand, and fulfillment structure may benefit from consolidating operations with Shopify Markets or a cross-border solution.
2. Integrations matter as much as storefront design.
Connecting Shopify to ERP, inventory, payments, and fulfillment systems can be more complex than building the customer-facing experience. Shelly, On, and Takomo illustrate why these dependencies need to be planned early.
3. Customization should solve a measurable problem.
Checkout changes, product configuration, promotions, and subscription functionality should be tied to a specific business need rather than added simply because the platform supports them.
4. Headless commerce isn't automatically better.
Glowforge uses headless components only where they add value. Carpet Warehouse benefited from returning to Shopify's native storefront. The right decision depends on technical requirements and the resources available to maintain the build.
What does Shopify Plus include?
Shopify Plus includes everything in the standard plans plus features for larger and more complex businesses. On its pricing page, Shopify lists B2B on Shopify, headless commerce, Shopify POS Pro, checkout customizations, Shopify Audiences, ShopifyQL Notebooks, Shopify Functions and Managed Markets, with 24/7 priority support (Shopify Plus pricing).
Features that still require Plus and appear in the stores above:
- Expansion stores: up to 9 extra stores for one brand (Shelly, BrainGain, Brooklinen)
- Checkout customization of the information, shipping and payment steps (Ruggable)
- Combined Listings app for colour and style variants (On, Shelly)
- Headless deployment at no extra cost (Glowforge)
B2B on Shopify is now also available on the Basic, Grow and Advanced plans, with features that depend on the plan (Shopify Help Center).
How much does Shopify Plus cost in 2026?
Shopify Plus starts at $2,300 USD per month on a three-year term, or $2,500 USD per month on a one-year term, according to Shopify's published US pricing as checked October 21, 2026.
For eligible single-brand setups, the contract includes one main store and up to nine expansion stores. Each additional store costs $300 USD per month or a revenue share, and each brand needs its own contract.
But subscription fees are only part of the investment.
Migration complexity, custom development, integrations, and ongoing maintenance can significantly affect the total cost.
