Batch’d is a UK-based dessert brand known for its handcrafted cookies, brownies, and sweet treats. With a growing retail presence and a loyal community of food lovers, the brand needed an online store that could capture its playful identity and rise to the same level of indulgence as its products.
Context
As Batch’d rose from a local favorite to one of the UK’s fastest-growing dessert names, their online store struggled to keep up.
The old setup lacked the ingredients needed to showcase their range of treats, launch new products with ease, and deliver the fun, flavor-packed experience customers already associated with the brand.
At the same time, Batch’d had just unveiled a refreshed brand identity - bold, colorful, and full of personality - and their digital storefront needed to reflect that same energy.
Together, we mapped out a complete migration from WordPress to Shopify, a custom theme build, and a redesign that feels as sweet and engaging as the products themselves.

Seamless Migration to Shopify
Batch’d’s old WordPress setup had become a blocker.
The store was slow, difficult to manage, and often unstable during high-traffic moments - all of which clashed with the brand’s rapid growth.
We migrated the entire store data to Shopify, ensuring all product data, customers, and orders were preserved.
The migration gave Batch’d a reliable foundation that can handle higher order volumes while giving their team the tools to manage the store more efficiently.

Complete UX/UI Redesign
The first step in our design process was to dive into Batch’d’s new branding.
The refreshed identity was vibrant, bold, and playful - and we set out to translate those flavors into a digital experience.
We built a UX/UI system that blends playful typography, bright accents, and immersive animated elements. Each interaction feels light and lively, keeping customers engaged as they explore the store.
At the same time, we restructured the product categories to make discovery effortless.
Cookies, brownies, and donuts are now showcased clearly, helping customers browse with the same joy they feel when stepping into a Batch’d shop.
The outcome is a Shopify store that looks, feels, and behaves like Batch’d - colorful, fun, and impossible to resist.
Custom Theme Development
Design was only one part of the recipe.
To elevate the customer journey, we also introduced bespoke features tailored to Batch’d’s business.
We developed a Mix & Match Box builder, letting customers create their own dessert boxes with their favorite treats. This interactive touch brings personalization to the shopping experience and encourages larger orders, especially for gifting.
We also integrated a loyalty program that bridges online and offline shopping, rewarding customers with points wherever they choose to indulge.
And because Batch’d’s growth extends beyond the checkout, we built a locations page to guide visitors to physical shops, along with a careers page to help attract new talents to the team.
Together, these features transformed the store into more than just an e-commerce platform, it became a hub for engagement, loyalty, and brand storytelling.

The new Shopify store gave Batch’d a digital home as irresistible as its desserts.
