Before Craftberry's involvement, NLBeauty struggled with a good-looking but outdated and inefficient e-commerce system.
Craftberry was entrusted with migrating the brand's entire product, order, and customer database to Shopify within four months.
Additionally, we ensured that there was no disruption in the company's workflow when migrating to their new e-commerce platform. We did that by establishing a secure connection between NLBeauty’s ERP and Shopify.
Further elevating NLBeauty's online presence, we boosted their sales and customer engagement. This was done by a complete aesthetic overhaul of the brand's online store.

Modern 2023 UI/UX Rehaul
NLBeauty had good looking & attractive design that matched perfectly the brand, but most of the time in e-commerce relying on looks is a double-edged sword.
Having a carefully crafted design certainly helps sales and conversions, but in e-commerce, this is only a part of the full picture.
NLBeauty’s design was getting outdated in 2023 and their conversions were falling behind. Action had to be taken.
To help them out we had to put our CRO expertise to the test and create a design that wasn’t only beautiful, but highly converting as well.
To achieve this, we introduced several features such as product badges to highlight deals and increase purchase intent. They were utilized for identifying bestsellers or new arrivals.
Additionally, we included a before-and-after section to demonstrate the effectiveness of the products and a metrics section to provide social proof.
Design Strategy for Average Order Value
Our design strategy focused on increasing NLBeauty's AOV by adding various bundles. We have created a bundle that includes all the necessary products to bring a vision to life at a discounted price.
We also created a step-by-step beauty guide that was linked to products and offered discounts on complete routines. To improve the product pages, we added a convenient sticky bar for reviews and product shades.
Lastly, we optimized the cart section with an upsell feature on the left side, designed to showcase more products effectively.
Migration from Custom E-commerce Platform to Shopify
