Over time, the brand has become a trusted choice for professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and active people, building a loyal audience across more than 30 countries worldwide.
Context
Before partnering with craftberry - supplement Shopify agency, FitSpo’s online store was built on WordPress.
Over time, the brand expanded its product range and international presence, serving customers across multiple markets.
As the business continued to scale, the platform became increasingly limited and no longer supported FitSpo’s operational and eCommerce needs.
The store depended on multiple third-party plugins to handle essential eCommerce functionality.
This led to performance issues, higher maintenance effort, and increased risk of instability.
Moreover, every design change required developer involvement, slowing down improvements and making the website harder to adapt.
Introducing new products and managing multiple markets became increasingly difficult within the WordPress ecosystem.

UX/UI Transformation
The craftberry design team began by stepping back and examining the broader context of FitSpo’s business and category.
Visually, the new store had to feel clean, bright, and energetic, with the playful tone that defines the FitSpo brand.
From there, our focus moved from aesthetics to evidence.
Our UI/UX designers relied on extensive market research and insights from FitSpo’s existing store data.
Our approach is focused on presenting a clear, compelling offer, positioned strategically:
- Designed the buy box as the primary conversion zone - free shipping messaging, a transparent delivery timeline, a prominent customer review, and contextual upsells within a single, focused area.
- To support fast evaluation, we’ve added key selling points at the top of the product detail pages, alongside nutritional information.
- Further down the page, we’ve added verified customer reviews, ingredient breakdowns, product comparisons, and created data-driven educational sections to support the decision process
The result is a vibrant, persuasive shopping experience, crafted specifically for health supplement ecommerce.
Migration to Shopify
Once we finalized the new design, the focus shifted to executing the migration to Shopify.
The craftberry team developed a detailed migration strategy covering products, order history, and critical store data from FitSpo’s previous platform.
One of our key priorities was preserving SEO performance throughout the process, which required precise data mapping and structured validation at every stage.
To execute the migration efficiently and accurately, our team used Matrixify to manage large volumes of data and maintain control over the import process.
Fitspo was now prepared for scalable growth, with all critical data preserved.
Internationalization
craftberry utilized Shopify Markets to power FitSpo’s international eCommerce operations.
The setup gives the business centralized control over cross-border selling while supporting localized market needs.
FitSpo now sells across more than 30 markets within the European Union through a single, scalable Shopify store, with the flexibility to expand further as the brand grows.
Custom Theme Development
FitSpo’s new Shopify store needed a unique theme that could express the brand’s visual character.
craftberry built the theme as part of a broader supplement store development strategy.
To achieve this, we translated the approved design system directly into a custom-built Shopify theme.
Our development approach focuses on modular, reusable sections that support CRO best practices.
Moreover, all the sections were crafted with the intention to give the FitSpo team the freedom to manage and evolve the store independently.
