Westbourne’s most famous product is their luxuriously smooth, bright green avocado oil. The oil wins many customers’ hearts thanks to its purity and sustainable production methods.
Crafted entirely from organic Mexican avocados, it offers a rich, fresh, and earthy flavor profile that distinguishes it from the typical, bland oils commonly found in stores.
Whether you drizzle it over focaccia, pair it with pasta, or use it as a dressing for burrata salad, Westbourne's avocado oil is designed to be the main star of your dish.
The Challenge
Over the years, Westbourne dedicated considerable effort to developing their online store and cultivating a range of products that earned customer admiration.
The team actively pushed opportunities to boost the brand's visibility, participating in publications of Bon Appetit, Forbes, and more.
Despite the vibrant and lifestyle-rich online store, there were significant challenges for them.
The core hurdle faced by Westbourne was the need for an expert Shopify store audit to identify and implement strategic enhancements to increase sales.
Disappointed by the slow response and lack of insights from their previous Shopify consultancy, the Westbourne team was searching for a seasoned Shopify team, capable of delivering swift, effective solutions and valuable feedback.

Westbourne entrusted us with making essential modifications to their Shopify store, beginning with the revamping of their product bundles.
We introduced dynamic bundles that adjust based on the size option selected by the customer.

As we progressed, we used Hotjar to analyze customer behaviors and pinpoint areas for improvement.
Our team observed the need to upgrade the Cart and Product Page and meticulously documented an action plan to start the project.
Conversion-Oriented PDP Redesign
The craftberry team overhauled the product page to boost its visual appeal and functionalities.
We've introduced more contrasting and vibrant colors, enhancing the add-to-cart button and the subscription offers.
Our design team integrated the Shop Pay logo to indicate the availability of installment payment options for customers.
We’ve included product features as checkboxes to reduce scrolling and keep customers engaged.
Lastly, we’ve displayed shipping information to show exact delivery dates, ensuring customers know when to expect their products.
Cart Redesign
We started the redesign with an empty cart strategy.
Integrating categories directly from the navigation menu to re-engage customers, we made sure to encourage them to explore Westburne's products.
To further incentivize purchases and increase average order value (AOV), we implemented a Free Shipping progress bar and strategically positioned product recommendations at the bottom of the cart.
Recommended Products Section
Westbourne sought to showcase their recommended products through the 'Shop the Goods' section on both the homepage and product pages.
Our designers resized the images of the avocado oil bottles to achieve a more premium and sleek look.
They also added labels to clarify the availability of different product sizes.
We relocated the product banner to the top of the product image for improved visibility.
Instead of displaying only three products, we added a fourth one, with half of it hidden, to show customers there are further suggestions to explore.
“As Seen In” Section for Credibility & Trustworthiness
Finally, we leveraged Westbourne's press coverage by adding a dynamic "As Seen In" section to the homepage.
It showcases scrolling logos to build customer trust and strengthen brand credibility.
